Test Purpose:
The purpose of the testing is to demonstrate the opacity of coated fabric types to light as well as to ultraviolet radiation.
Test Method in Detail:
The transmission spectra of UV radiation and light in the wavelength range of 295–800 nm
(UVB, UVA and visible light of the sun) was measured for the fabric samples. The measurement
was carried out in an optics laboratory employing, among other things, a spectroradiometer and
an integrating sphere connected to it.
